What is a popcorn bar, and do you set it up?
A popcorn bar is a self-serve display of gourmet popcorn flavors and toppings that your guests scoop and mix themselves, a favorite at weddings, graduations, showers, and corporate events. Red Bow & Co. in Grand Island, Nebraska supplies everything for the bar, the bulk popcorn in your chosen flavors, bags or favor containers, custom labels, and topping suggestions. You or your planner set up the display, which keeps it affordable and lets it match your event styling.
How much popcorn do I need for my guest count?
Our celebration bars are sized from 50 to 500 servings, and we price by total servings across all the flavors you mix. As a rule of thumb, one 24 oz bag of gourmet popcorn covers about four grazing servings. Tell us your guest count on the order form and we size it for you, and if you land between sizes we round in your favor.
Can you make custom-labeled popcorn favors for a wedding or event?
Yes. Custom-labeled popcorn and fudge favors are one of our specialties at Red Bow & Co. in Grand Island, Nebraska. You can bring your own logo or design, have us design a label for you, or choose from our stock label library. Custom-labeled orders are priced on our volume ladder, so the price per bag comes down as your order grows.
Do you do corporate gifts?
Yes, corporate gifting is one of our three pillars. Banks, insurance agencies, dealerships, and offices across central Nebraska use Red Bow & Co. for client thank-yous, employee appreciation, grand openings, and holiday lists. How does a Red Bow & Co. fundraiser work?
Three ways, and nothing up front. Popcorn and fudge fundraisers return 35% of sales to your group, our highest share. Big Red Treats gift card fundraisers return 25%. Community Nights return 15% of an evening at Big Red Treats to your cause. Schools, teams, dance groups, church groups, and nonprofits around Grand Island, Nebraska all use them, and every seller gets their own online link and flyer.
What popcorn flavors do you offer?
Our flavors come in three tiers. Classics are Sea Salt, Kettle, and Butter. Signatures include Cheddar, White Cheddar, Cinnamon Sugar, Hot Cocoa, and the Nebraska Blend, our cheddar and ranch mix. Reserve flavors are Caramel, the CC’s Mix of caramel and cheddar, and Custom Color, a candied popcorn matched to your event colors. Colored candy popcorn is always blended half and half with white sea salt so it tastes as good as it looks.
Do you make fudge?
Yes, handmade fudge in half-pound bars, in milk chocolate, dark chocolate caramel, and vanilla caramel pecan. Bars are $12.50, with volume pricing for events, favors, and corporate orders, and custom labels are available just like our popcorn.
How far in advance should I place my order?
About a week ahead for most orders. Small orders of up to 50 units need five days, larger orders need seven, and very large orders of more than 200 units need fourteen so everything is popped, coated, and packed fresh. If your date is closer than that, call us at (308) 218-3304 and we will tell you honestly what we can do.
Where do I pick up my order?
Pickup is at Big Red Treats, 223 W 3rd St in downtown Grand Island, Nebraska, open every day until 10 PM, so you can grab your order on your schedule. Delivery is free anywhere in the Railside District. For larger deliveries or shipping questions, ask us when you order.
Can I visit the showroom?
Please do. The Red Bow & Co. showroom is at 213 W 3rd St in downtown Grand Island, Nebraska, open Wednesday through Saturday, 10 AM to 1 PM. You can taste flavors, see label samples, and plan your event with us. You can also book a consultation from the showroom page at redbowandco.com/showroom.
Is Red Bow & Co. part of Big Red Treats?
Yes. Red Bow & Co. is a division of Big Red Treats, the family-owned ice cream and treat shops in Grand Island, Nebraska, owned by Dana and Juliet Wright. Big Red Treats handles everyday scoops and single bags in its stores, and Red Bow & Co. handles bulk orders, popcorn bars, custom-labeled favors, corporate gifting, and fundraising.
